Durability is a hallmark of Waterman products. This electric crab pot puller is made of a marine-grade aluminum box for complete sidewinder assembly. Even though pure aluminum is corrosion-resistant in comparison to other metals, the marine grade is a step ahead.
Sheave ( 9-3/ 4 inches)
Additional strength and durability of this electric crab pot puller come from its aluminium box, consisting of a back plate, stainless steel knife, and wheels. To avoid shimming problems, the pinch sheaves are mounted at 18 degrees.

It provides a lifting capacity of 45 to 190 pounds. While the hydraulic pot hauler uses a hydraulic instead of an electric davit.

Hydraulic Davit/Boom Mount

Design
Hydraulic Davit/Boom Mount is designed to be mounted to a vertical davit boom. The hydraulic davit gets its power from a hydraulic source.

The power source has several options rather than a fixed horsepower. Unlike an electric davit with a range of gear options, a hydraulic boom mount pumps at a speed of +/- 4 Gal per minute.

It also works with a pot hauler measuring 14 inches x 21 inches x 8 inches.
Lifting Capacity
The hydraulic davit has the same lifting capacity as its electric counterpart, 45 to 190 pounds. The retrieval speed of a hydraulic davit is equivalent to the electric one: 90 to 450 feet per minute.
